Farley Nursery Schools also care for children in Salisbury and Sparsholt

Welcome to Farley Nursery School Steeple Langford, we are set in the heart of the Wiltshire countryside.  Our children spend much of their time with us outside (no matter the weather).  The team prides itself on our safe and enriching environments providing children the best possible start to early years education. Children here at Steeple have freedom to use their imagination, freedom to learn and interact with other children and importantly the freedom to have lots of fun and make Farley memories. The wonderful outdoors is an amazing way to explore the world through endless play opportunities from jumping in muddy puddles, den building, stories around the campfire to going on a bug hunt.

Please get in touch to visit our beautiful setting and our incredible staff where I can answer any questions about the nursery.

Farley Nursery School, Steeple Langford

Marigold Room

(6-18 months)

Marigold is where the Farley Nursery School bubble begins and where the first impressions of outdoor learning is fully embedded in our play. The sensory environment allows for our babies to learn and develop new skills from talking to walking, in their first real experience of each season through the year

Merrygrove Room

(18-24 months)

When finding your feet, and you just need to start taking those independent steps, Merry grove is where the magic happens. Friendships begin as we play alongside one another and it’s a wonderful time to really start being aware of the environment around us, and developing those simple sounds and sentences.

Bee Garden

(24 – 36 months)

Our children in Bee are just the best! The busy two-year-old Bees in Bee Garden always buzzing around having the best time, exploring, and taking adventures in the flourishing gardens at Farley.

Big Bees Room

(36-48 months)

When you’ve grown in confidence and your letters and sounds are waiting to be found! The Big Bees are our younger 3-year-olds, and this is a delightful time in developing their social skills. The fabulous staff work alongside the parents to help toilet training, and to conquer and tricky moments that can sometimes arise!

Preschool: Top Conker

(36 – 60 months)

Top Conker is the room where every child at Farley dreams to be. When reaching the magical age of 4, you transition to Top Conker and fulfil the fantasies of friendship and fun all in the outdoor learning environment of the field. The team in Top Conker prepare the children for school readiness through exciting activities encouraging independence and confidence. Why just read about the Hungry Caterpillar, go, and explore our beautiful gardens to find the caterpillar and hunt for the butterfly!

We love to hear what the children think, so we offer them a Top Conker Council, an opportunity to hear the child’s voice.

Sessions

Our nursery and pre-school is open weekdays from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, for 52 weeks of the year. We are closed on bank holidays during which time no fees will be payable.

  • Full Day Session: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
  • Morning Session: 8:00 am – 1:00 pm
  • Afternoon Session: 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm

There is a lovely 'family' culture within the nursery, where staff and children across all classes know each other. We also appreciate all the events they put on, involving parents in Farley life.
